PCS is founded by an experienced and hands-on executive team.  The PCS inspection team presents no less than 80 cumulative years of municipal code experience.  Our  Inspectors have and continue to hold municipal positions as Building Officials, Plans Examiners and Zoning Officers.  PCS is proud to have on our executive team a Master Code Professional, one of only 500 nationwide. In November of 1999, then Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge signed into law Act 45. Act 45 established a statewide building to be administered by all municipalities within the Commonwealth. Administration of a building code includes a thorough review and approval of all construction documents prior to the issuance of a permit. and periodic inspections throughout the construction process to determine compliance.

Professional Code Services, a professional organization, has been established to serve as a Third Party Agency specializing in professional plan review and inspection services to municipalities optioning for the use of a Third Party Agency to administer Act 45. PCS provides state certified personnel to perform all required plan review services and inspections in the field of Building, Electrical Mechanical, Plumbing, Accessibility and Energy.
